Dr Kemble Wang is an internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon, with a special interest in shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand reconstruction.
Operating in Melbourne, Dr Wang is a partner at Melbourne Orthopaedic Surgeons and consults privately at multiple locations, including East Melbourne, Box Hill, and Knox. Publicly he practices at the Royal Children's Hospital and Box Hill Hospital.
Dr Wang completed his medical studies at the University of Melbourne and went on to complete his orthopaedic training in Victoria, gaining fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons as well as the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2017. Dr Wang furthered his orthopaedic training by travelling to the USA, completing sub-specialty fellowships in Boston (Harvard University) and Minnesota. Dr Wang also spent time with leading upper limb surgeons in New York.
Dr Wang is passionate about producing high-quality orthopaedic research. He is featured in many respected orthopaedic journals on the topic of upper extremity and paediatric orthopaedics. He is an investigator at the Hand and Wrist Biomechanics Laboratory and is the immediate past Victorian Scientific Secretary of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
