Dr Beischer is Founder of the Victorian Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Clinic, which he established in 2000 after training with several of the world’s most famous foot and ankle surgeons. Over the last two decades, he has remained at the forefront of foot and ankle education, lecturing and training orthopaedic surgeons from around the world, and, more recently, establishing a foot and ankle surgery training program in HCMC, Vietnam.

Over this time, Dr Beischer has maintained a significant research interest in the medicolegal aspects of orthopaedic surgery. He has published and lectured extensively on the use of computer-based technologies as an adjunct to the informed consent process.
