Mr Osama Elsewaisy is an Australian and internationally trained specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon who treats conditions affecting the hip and knee, and general orthopaedic trauma. He has undertaken two international subspecialty fellowships focusing on hip and knee surgery, in the UK and Canada. Osama’s private practice is based in metro Melbourne, and he has a public hospital appointment at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Osama completed his medical degree at Monash university in 2009. He completed his orthopaedic training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
Osama keeps up to date with the latest advances in Orthopaedics by attending relevant courses and conferences, and has presented his own research both locally and internationally. He has authored several peer reviewed journal publications. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, and a member of the Canadian Arthroplasty Society.
Mr Elsewaisy is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability, and medical negligence claims, and is also available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
