Biography

Mr Chris Fitzgerald is an Ergonomist specialising in injury prevention and occupational rehabilitation. He is currently Principal Consultant and Company Director of Risk and Injury Management Services, which he has operated since 1993.

Mr Fitzgerald completed a Diploma of Applied Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics at Lincoln Institute of Health Services, Victoria in 1979 and a Graduate Diploma in Ergonomics at La Trobe University, Victoria in 1988. He is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia as a Certified Professional Ergonomist.

Over the course of his career, Mr Fitzgerald has worked on projects across various industries to develop safer, more efficient methods and systems of operation in workplaces. These industries consist of emergency services, food processing, television, disability services, children’s services and a number of others. Mr Fitzgerald has an in-depth understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements across an extensive span of fields and labour, to ensure employees are kept safe and well at work.

Mr Chris Fitzgerald is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents and public liability matters. Mr Fitzgerald is available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
