Dr Tim Dickson is a Consultant Radiologist at the Melbourne Radiology Clinic, and Teleradiologist for Benson Radiology. His main interests are multi-modality imaging of sports and musculoskeletal medicine, musculoskeletal and spinal radiological assisted non-operative treatment methods, and minimally invasive therapies.
Dr Tim Dickson gained his medical degree from the University of Newcastle in 2004 and was well on his way to becoming an orthopaedic surgeon when he switched career paths to radiology. He completed radiology training at the Alfred Hospital and undertook subspeciality musculoskeletal and MRI training at the Melbourne Radiology Clinic. He also completed his Master of Medicine (Radiology) in 2015 through the University of Melbourne.
Dr Tim Dickson is continually contributing to the development and knowledge within radiology through his commitments to the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group, and is the current vice-president and former treasurer. Dr Dickson’s research is also published and presented within peer-reviewed articles and at peer meetings.
Outside of work life, Dr Dickson is a sports fanatic. With a young family, his life is busy.
Dr Dickson is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability and medical negligence claims. He is also available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
