Mr Nathan Hayward is an Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon treating both general adult and paediatric ENT conditions. He has a special interest in and has completed sub-speciality training in the surgical management of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA), Snoring and Sleep Disordered Breathing in children and adults. Mr Hayward’s expert training and specialised skills led to the formation of Melbourne Sleep Surgery. Mr Hayward is one of a very few surgeons in Australia who has undertaken expert training in Sleep Surgery. Located in Melbourne, Mr Hayward consults across multiple metro sites and regularly visits regional Victoria.

Mr Nathan Hayward completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, graduating with Honours. He went on to be awarded his fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019. After completing fellowship, Mr Hayward undertook further specialist training in Sleep Surgery, under the guidance of Professor Stuart Mackay.

Mr Hayward has an ongoing commitment to research and innovation within Sleep Surgery. He has been invited to speak at both national and international industry events and meetings. He is also involved with providing guidance and training to junior doctors and surgeons.

Mr Nathan Hayward is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability and medical negligence claims. He is also available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
