Dr Nathan Connelly is a Melbourne-based gastroenterologist and hepatologist (liver specialist) with a specific interest in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and polypectomy. Dr Connelly completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Melbourne in 1995 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Connelly began his working career at the Austin Hospital in Heidelberg in 1996. Since then, he has practised as a specialist gastroenterologist and consultant physician in both public and private practices.
Dr Connelly has owned and operated his private clinic since 2011 which is located in Essendon. Dr Connelly also treats his patients at numerous Melbourne hospitals, including Epworth Freemasons, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Brunswick Private Hospital, and Warringal Private Hospital.
Dr Connelly performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, haemorrhoid banding, flexible sigmoidoscopy, capsule endoscopy and also specialises in helping patients with inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease and liver disease.
Dr Connelly has AMA impairment assessment training and is available for bookings in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters and total permanent disability. Dr Connelly is also available for complex case discussion, telemedicine assessment and file review.
