Dr Kate Annear is a General Practitioner based in Metropolitan Melbourne. Her main areas of interest are Women’s and Children’s Health and Travel Medicine. Her experience in these areas has been established through valued roles throughout Australian hospitals, including Royal Perth, Royal Melbourne, Prince of Wales Sydney and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dr Annear completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at University of Western Australia in 2004, and a Diploma in Child Health at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She undertook a fellowship at The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012, and more recently, a Masters of Public Health at Monash University.
Dr Annear is an accredited GP supervisor for EVGP Training, teaching General Practice registrars at Richmond Medical and providing them with support and ongoing feedback. She has additionally been an advisor to publishing companies as reviewer of medical content in manuscript preparation.
Dr Kate Annear is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability and medical negligence claims. Dr Annear is available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
