COVID-19

During these unprecedented times, we wanted to reach out and give an update on Azure Medicolegal and how we anticipate operating, recognising that the situation is rapidly evolving.

The health and safety of your clients, our staff, consultants and the community is paramount. As we continue to function during these uncertain times, our staff are working remotely to ensure social distancing and to prevent the spread of COVID-19. A testament to our wonderful team, this transition has been relatively seamless, and we anticipate minor disruption to our daily activities.

To ensure that we can continue to provide our services, our consultants are offering assessments via telemedicine, with an interpreter if required. During this time, we will continue to offer assessments where telemedicine is deemed appropriate, including an observational examination. Where face-to-face physical examination is necessary, we will endeavour to arrange a time to complete this in a safe environment for all parties involved.

We have additional availability for these assessments, recognising that there may be some urgency for individuals to have matters progress or be resolved.

Azure Directors, Mr David Slattery and Dr Jen Flynn, are both available to discuss any queries you may have in regard to cases or the impact of COVID-19 on assessments and reporting. Feel free to reach out and discuss any concerns you may have via email below.

As COVID-19 evolves, our thoughts are with you, your family and the wider community. We want to assure you that at Azure we are taking steps to protect not only our colleagues, but also the wider community.

We hope you and your family stay safe and well.
