Dr Wan Zhang is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Melbourne. Dr Zhang has a special interest in Lower limb orthopaedic surgery and Trauma. He is currently based at Western Health and Shepparton public and private hospitals.
Dr Wan Zhang completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and went on to complete his fellowship training within Australia and America. He undertook training at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland, America and across leading institutions within Melbourne and Sydney. In 2021 Dr Zhang was awarded his fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Wan Zhang has fulfilled multiple teaching roles across his career, being a Clinical Tutor to medical students. Dr Zhang is continually adding to his skills and knowledge, attending industry events and presenting his own research at national conferences.
Dr Wan Zhang is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability and medical negligence claims. He is also available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
