Dr Stacey Cole is a Melbourne based Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr Cole is based at The Royal Children’s Hospital, currently extending her skillset in paediatric orthopaedics.
Dr Cole completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Advanced Studies in Clinical and Surgical Anatomy at Monash University between 2005 and 2010. Following this, Dr Cole undertook a Diploma of Surgical Anatomy at University of Melbourne in 2011, then Surgical Education and Training Program in Orthopaedic Surgery at The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Cole is passionate about equity within the healthcare provision and ethics in practicing medicine. She is interested in the advancement and sustainability of medical care, enjoys teaching and was consistently involved in the education of medical students and resident education. Dr Cole advocates for diversity in orthopaedics.
Dr Cole was awarded the Victorian and Tasmanian Regional Training Committee Annual Registrars Prize two years in a row. Dr Cole also achieved the highest score nationally highlighting her sound training and knowledge of the medical profession.
Dr Cole additionally has her AMA4 impairment accreditation and is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability and medical negligence claims. Dr Cole is available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
