Dr Sara Safari is a highly qualified sports medicine and exercise injury doctor who has joined Azure Medicolegal as an independent medical assessor.

Dr Safari has been practicing medicine since 2004 and subsequently completed her specialty degrees in general practice as well as sport and musculoskeletal medicine at university of Queensland.

Dr Safari is also the AFL academy talents team doctor during their trainings and games.

As a part of her job in sports and injury medicine Dr Safari administers PRP (Plasma Rich Platelet) injections to non-operative patients or patients on operation waiting lists. In addition, Dr Safari administrates Cortisone injections under ultrasound guide in her rooms. Dr Safari is additionally focused on developing her clinical skills maintaining an Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant role at Knox Hospital and Mitcham Hospital.

Dr Safari is available for medical negligence appointments in relation to musculoskeletal injuries. She has a keen interest in sporting injuries, upper limb injuries and injuries related to athletes. Dr Safari is also available for independent medical examinations, file reviews and telemedicine assessments.
