Dr Julia Rhodes is a dermatologist, and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Rhodes has experience in all aspects of general dermatology, including contact dermatitis and complex skin cancer diagnosis and management. She undertook her dermatology training in Victoria, and has worked at hospitals including St Vincent’s Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and the Skin Health Institute Inc. In 2016, she visited world-renowned dermatology centres in the United States to further her interest in complex medical dermatology, including the Mayo Clinic. In 2016, she participated in a dermatology outreach service in East Timor. Dr Rhodes is the current Secretary of the Victorian Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
Dr Rhodes is a visiting consultant dermatologist at the Alfred Hospital and the Skin Health Institute Inc, and works in private practice in Kew. She regularly participates in the education of medical students and doctors in training. Dr Rhodes is actively involved in clinical research, and her work been published in local and international medical journals.
Dr Rhodes is available for bookings in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters, total permanent disability and medical negligence claims. She is also available for complex case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
