Dr David Sime is an internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee replacements, sports knee surgery, and adult and paediatric orthopaedic trauma surgery. Dr Sime consults privately in central and south-eastern Melbourne.
Dr Sime completed his medical studies at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and went on to complete his medical and orthopaedic training back in Melbourne. During his specialist training, Dr Sime studied a Master's of Surgery, graduating with First Class Honours through the University of Edinburgh in 2015. In 2020, Dr David Sime was awarded fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in orthopaedic surgery. During 2021 and 2022, Dr Sime completed further subspeciality training in hip and knee arthroplasty and sports knee surgery in the United Kingdom.
