Dr Anton Lambers is a Melbourne-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr Lambers is currently practicing in Wangaratta, in regional north east Victoria. His training is focused on elective and trauma orthopaedic surgery.
Dr Lambers has a strong academic history having completed specialist training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Orth). In addition Dr Lambers has completed;
- Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc) with Honors: University of Melbourne, 2011
- Diploma of Management (DipMgt): Australian College of Applied Business, 2012
- Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS): University of Melbourne, 2014
- Master of Surgery by research (MS) with Distinction: University of Western Australia, 2020
He is currently also a PhD candidate with the University of Western Australia investigating metallurgy and trauma implants in orthopaedics.
Outside of orthopaedic surgery he is an outdoor enthusiast with an active volunteer role at the Mt Hotham Ski Patrol and recently kayaking across the Bass Strait with his two younger brothers. He spends his weekends with his family in Wangaratta and surrounds.
Dr Lambers will take the time to address all matters in a careful and considered fashion and lends a balanced approach to assessments. He has completed AMA Fourth Edition Impairment Training (Lower Limb & Skin) and is available for appointments in relation to independent medical examinations, workplace injuries, transport accidents, public liability matters and total permanent disability claims. He is also available for case discussion, file review and telemedicine assessments.
