Dr Amita Singla is an experienced gynaecologist based in Adelaide, South Australia. Dr Singla has a special interest in ultrasound, gynaecology, pelvic floor repair, menopause, colposcopy, vulval disorders and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
Dr Singla consults privately at the Ashford Specialty Centre, Western Hospital, and Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. Dr Singla additionally holds public roles at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, managing gynaecological clinics, surgeries and emergencies.
Dr Amita Singla started her medical career in India, completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1985. After receiving specialist training for Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Mumbai, Dr Singla relocated to New Zealand and then Australia, training across multiple reputable institutions. In 2000, Dr Singla completed her Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists fellowship.
Dr Singla is actively involved in teaching future generations, holding a clinical senior lecturer role and tutoring role at Adelaide University.
